Goecco Outdoor Amazing Race Team Building Event in Reykjavik Iceland

Goecco Outdoor Adventures "Amazing Race" is an outstanding teambuilding event combining communication skills, planning, strategy, teamwork, and a race against the clock. Anyone can participate as no special skills, athletic ability or ex- perience are required.

Groups from 8 to 1000+ can participate at once. Each team’s goal is to complete the race course in as little time as possible. In order to do so, teams must interpret a number of "clues" to locate up to 10 Route Markers.

At the conclusion of the race, a trophy and medals will be awarded. The race can finish at a location of your choosing including the group’s hotel or perhaps a popular restaurant or landmark.

LOCATIONS
Reykjavik, Thingvellir, Selfoss, Vestmannaeyjar, Höfn, plus any other hotel, resort, city, town, or other location throughout Iceland.

Route Markers mark the location of additional route information.

Road Blocks outline a specific task one person on each team must complete before moving on.

Detours give a choice of 2 tasks your entire team must complete before moving on.

At the conclusion of the race, medals and a trophy will be awarded. Our hosts will tabulate results to determine both a mini-team winner and an overall team winner (reds vs. yellows).

Following numerous requests from our corporate clients, Goecco Outdoor Adventures has designed an authentic recreation of the challenges seen on the popular "Survivor" tv series.

These 9 engaging challenges combine with ceremonies and a variety of custom locations to provide your group with a premier corporate team building and employee development & training solution. Anyone can participate as no special skills, athletic ability or experience are required.

Groups from 8-1000+ can participate at once.
Groups are split into tribes of 4-10 people with tribal names taken from various Icelandic Viking groups. Each tribe's goal is to complete the various challenges as effectively as possible. Challenges such as Blind Leading the Blind, Triage, Human Scramble, and Buried Treasure test strategy, communication, and other essential business components.

Physical skill is not a focus.

With the results in, the torches lit, and the Viking Survivor music getting louder and louder, the Survivor Host is ready for the awards presentation. One by one the torches are extinguished as tribes are eliminated from contention. One final torch remains lit; the medals are then presented to the winning tribe.

The Goecco Outdoor Adventures GPS Geocache Challenge!

The Goecco GPS Geocache Challenge involves teams competing in a high-tech treasure hunt. Teams are given GPS units that are pre-programmed with vital coordinates of each target, called caches. Utilizing the GPS units and team skills, each team collaborates to find these caches, often taking the form of hidden boxes or team challenges.

Each cache can vary from the simple to the complex.

From finding a critical piece of a puzzle to climbing over a wall, or even using an interesting mode of transport to access a remote place where the cache is hidden.

For each challenge, the team must design a plan, execute it, and reach the final goal without a pre designated leader. With the aid of the Goecco Outdoor Hosts, this becomes an amazing opportunity to observe team behavior and to discover what your team needs most to function at the next level.

This experiential learning program will also highlight interesting parts of your chosen location and is a lot of fun!

Goecco Party In The Park

Goecco Outdoor Adventures has developed a fantastic spin-off from the traditional company picnic. Goecco Outdor’s Party in the Park provides the perfect opportunity to put everything else on hold while your staff and families enjoy a relaxing mix of great food, enjoyable games, light hearted competitions, and fun for all ages.

Our hosts will plan the entire day and set-up a variety of activities including (location permitting) traditional picnic games such as volleyball, bocce and croquet, retro games including Giant Jenga and Giant Connect 4, mini adventures such as kayaking, and numerous children’s activities.

Groups looking to add a little competition and creativity to their picnic may choose to incorporate some of our unique “Survivor: The Goecco Outdoor” challenges.

We’ll also take care of hungry colleagues with our delicious BBQ lunch or dinner, fully catered by our hosts. This will provide the perfect opportunity for your group to relax, listen to music, have some laughs and enjoy delicious food and ice cold refreshments.

Goecco Haunted Walk Singing and a Soup.

Goecco Outdoor Adventures has developed a fantastic spin-off from the traditional Haunted Walk.

Your group gathers for a Haunted Walk in the Reykjavik City Center, 90 min walk with Icelandic brennivín snaps. Icelandic Church Singers meet the group in the Graveyard singing traditional Iceland Folklore Graveyard songs.
The guide walks the guests to Saegreifinn for a Lobster Soup or other location for a dinner. (At Sægreifinn the group can bring their own wine and save money)
During this light dinner the guide will tell local folklore stories or do modern Icelandic Standup.

The time has come to once again answer life’s most savoury question: whose BBQ cuisine reigns supreme?!

Culinary team building events are a wonderful trend sweeping the continent.
